Written language is one of the most complex skills a student learns in school. Some common difficulties include: spelling, writing mechanics, idea generation, organization, grammar, sentence structure, output on paper/ computer, revising, and editing.
Ready…Set…Read! offers a developmental writing program utilizing effective writing strategies, helping your child become a confident and successful writer. We teach writing from pre-writing to essay writing.
Educational Assessment
All of the tutoring programs begin with an educational assessment. An informal or formal assessment is administered in the targeted area of concern. The student’s school curriculum and the state’s grade level objectives are used to determine individual goals and objectives.
Program Length
Length of time in the program is determined by the specific objectives for each individual child.
